Occupancy tables can be used to calculate the project cost inside a permit using ICC’s (International Code Council) occupancy and construction classes. Before using this feature, you will need to populate the rates in your occupancy table.
Instructions
- Sign in to your site
-
Select and open a permit
- Click Edit
- Select the Property tab
- Click the link for Project Value
- Select Add Row on the pop-up
- Fill out the row and a Calculated Value will appear using the occupancy table, construction, and occupancy classes. If no value appears, that combination was not populated in the table. You can also adjust the value by entering a Declared Value.
- Select Save
- You can select Pick calculated or Pick declared, which will populate the project value field for you
Note: When you save your work, the values selected and calculated are stored with the permit. If the underlying occupancy table rates change, those will not be reflected here. This is to persevere how the calculation was generated.
