This article will show you how to manage users, their roles, and access levels.
Instructions
- Sign in to your site and navigate to All Users
- Search for a user and select the pencil icon under the Actions column
- If needed, edit their User Information
- Scroll down and choose the Role for the user

Contractor: Can only access the Portal, typically used for the Fire Marshal product for inspection reports

Public: Can only access the Portal

Container Admin: Assigned to the main administrators

Staff: Assigned to any users who are staff members for their organization

Inspector: Is added to the list of Inspectors to choose from when assigning/scheduling inspections

Clerk: Same as Staff, from a permission standpoint

Supervisor: Assigned to any staff member that manages other staff; can also be listed in the inspector list. One level below the Container Admin role.

Supervisor/Inspector: Assigned to any staff member who has to manage other staff. Has the flexibility to be added to the list of Inspectors to choose from when assigning/scheduling.

Board Member: Newly added as a requirement for planning/zoning, for emailing meeting information (such as schedules, emails, and notes). Slightly higher level than the Public or Contractor roles.

- The Features section allows you to give Add, Edit, Read Only, and Delete access to the modules
Note: The Module access controls are not applicable to the Sys Admin or Container Admin roles.- Scheduling Manager: Allows inspectors to assign districts to users

Workflow Manager: Allows a user to change the routing of Permits/Projects

Parcel Admin: Allows users to change the Parcel ID, Owner, and Location
- Select the Advanced button to configure additional access options
- Invoicing: Choose if the user can create, modify, or pay invoices for specific modules

Contacts: Allow the user to create contacts in specific modules

Codes Table: Allow the user to add new codes in specified modules
- Status Tab: Allow the user to add a new status
- Documents: Allow the user to add documents to records in the selected modules

Contractors Tab: Allow admin users to be able to add a Contractor to the system

Issuing Users: Sets who is visible in the Issuing User dropdown in a permit

- Click Save Changes
